“You are known by the company you keep”. Have you taken a good look at the company that President Obama keeps?
Let’s start with Joe-gaffe-by –the-minute-Biden. He has been known to say things like the decisions that Obama has had to make about the economy have been more difficult than anything President FDR ever faced. He warned women that they would be raped if Congress did not pass certain bills. He admitted that he advised the president against sending the Seal team to take out Bin Laden.
Recently he held an official event paid for by taxpayer money at his Washington residence. He was speaking to a group of about 100 federal, state, and local police officers and firefighters. He accused the GOP of being more interested in cutting taxes for the rich than they were in “policies that would save the lives of police officers and firefighters”. He tried to make the argument that if we vote for tax increases then we vote to increase the ranks of policemen and firefighters, but if we vote against tax increases then we are decreasing their ranks and thereby putting their lives in danger. Did you catch the part where we the taxpayers paid for this event?
At another event he told the audience, “I never had an interest in being a mayor ‘cause that’s a real job. You have to produce. That’s why I was able to be a senator for 36 years.” What are they thinking giving this man an open mic? They could’ve picked a more intelligent VP, but maybe they didn’t want anyone to outshine their presidential pick.
It reminds me of when Clinton was in office. I thought at the time that Al Gore had been picked as VP to make Clinton look more intelligent. Remember the time when Gore pointed to the busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, etc. and asked, “Now, who are all of these guys?”
The guide tried to whisper discreetly, “Uh, sir, these are our Founding Fathers.”
Another friend of the president’s is former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones. When he was picked the president already knew Van Jones’ personal history, a former registered communist, former convict, and a 9/11 Truther (that has no truth to it whatsoever). In one of Van Jones’ recent rants he said, “They’ve [Libertarians] taken their despicable ideology and used it as a wrecking ball, that they have painted red, white, and blue, to smash down every good thing in America…They say they’re Patriots but they hate everybody in America who looks like us. They say they love America but they hate the people, the brown folk, the gays, the lesbians, the people with piercings, ya know ya’ll.” And this is the guy that the liberal actor, Edward Norton, likened to the Dali Lama.
Here’s some of the introduction to Van Jones’ new memoir, “Of course, it will not be easy to stop the dream killers…many well-intentioned people have been recruited into a powerful crusade—the Tea Party movement—that promises the American people economic relief by slashing taxes and taking a wrecking ball to America’s government….”
So, we are the dream killers because we want to cut taxes, limit government spending, limit the control of government, have more of our hard-earned cash in our own pockets to spend as we please? That was the American Dream. One that fewer Americans can or will realize because of the liberal, failed, socialist policies of his former boss and our current president.
Here’s a look at another of Obama’s companions, the terrorist-turned-college professor, Bill Ayers. He stopped recently at Occupy Union Square in New York City and shared with the people the hope that keeps him going every day…”I get up every morning and think, today I’m going to make a difference. Today I’m going to end capitalism. Today I’m going to make a revolution. I go to bed every night disappointed but I’m back to work tomorrow, and that’s the only way you can do it.” Is this the guy you want teaching your college-aged child? Did you know that a Maine university invited him to speak to the students?! Are you O.K. with that? I’m not.
The first thing needed is to make sure that we elect someone else as president. Make Obama a one-term president.
Money talks. Would universities continue to hire terrorists to teach our youth if the government funding dried up?
